For a small annual fee our aftercare service ensures that your Will is safe, and your executors know how to access it in the event of your death. It also makes the process of reviewing and updating your Will inexpensive and straightforward.
It is unwise to keep your Will at home, for obvious reasons; It may be lost through fire or flood, vandalised by burglars, simply misplaced or even worse, tampered with. The effect could be disastrous for surviving beneficiaries.

Our Aftercare service includes the following benefits:
- Each Will is stored in our fire-resistant safe facility while you will receive a copy for your own records.
- Each Will is covered under our professional indemnity insurance.
- You can update your Will whenever an amendment is required, paying a small administration fee rather than the cost of a new Will.
- We will write to your executors advising them of their duties, where your Will is being kept and how to access it following your death.
- Executors have access to our helpline so they can seek advice and ask questions regarding the next stages after your death.
Why use a Will storage service?
According to The Law Society, one in three people die without notifying their family of where their Will might be and so are considered to have died intestate. This means that the Government decides on how your estate is distributed and, in the event of there being no known beneficiaries, may keep your entire estate.
